Hot Honey Pizza 🍯🔥
Ingredients (12-inch pizza)
For the dough (or use store-bought):
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp instant yeast
¾ cup warm water
1 tbsp olive oil
For the toppings:
½ cup pizza sauce (tomato-based or white sauce)
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
100g pepperoni slices (or any meat/veggie of choice)
½ cup fresh mozzarella (optional, for creamy texture)
¼ cup thinly sliced red onions (optional for crunch)
For finishing:
3–4 tbsp Himalayan Hot Honey
Fresh basil leaves
Chili flakes (optional)
Instructions
Make the dough
In a large bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Knead until smooth (about 8–10 minutes).
Cover and let rise for 1–2 hours until doubled in size.
Preheat the oven
Set to 250°C (480°F) or as high as your oven allows. Place a pizza stone or baking tray inside to heat.
Shape the pizza
Roll the dough into a 12-inch circle. Transfer to parchment paper.
Add toppings
Spread pizza sauce evenly.
Sprinkle shredded mozzarella, arrange pepperoni, fresh mozzarella, and onions.
Bake
Slide the pizza (on parchment) onto the hot stone/tray. Bake 7–10 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
Finish with hot honey
Right after baking, drizzle Himalayan Hot Honey generously over the pizza.
Sprinkle chili flakes for extra heat, and add fresh basil leaves.
